I am a 21-year-old passionate Ghanaian female with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Mathematics from the University of Ghana. A proud alumna of Wesley Girls’ High School (Class of 2020), I have a strong interest in policy advocacy, continuous learning, and the empowerment of women and girls in STEM.

During my final year at university, I explored the mathematical foundations of the FinGPT model and its applications in my undergraduate thesis.

I have also developed technical skills in Python, Power BI, and LaTeX, and continue to build my analytical and research capabilities.

I have actively participated in impactful programmes such as the Ghana International Model United Nations and the World Bank Group Youth Summit, which deepened my understanding of global development and the role of data-driven policy in addressing real-world challenges.

Additionally, I took part in the Ghana 1000 Programme by Industry Immersion Africa, where I enhanced my skills in data analytics, financial modelling, and design thinking. Beyond academics, I have a deep appreciation for languages and intercultural communication, as well as cultural diversity.

I have studied French, German, Chinese, and Korean, and I am currently advancing my proficiency in French through the ICLR Advanced Language Programme.

In my leisure time, I enjoy watching thought-provoking drama series that blend emotional depth with cultural storytelling and engaging with music as a form of relaxation and creative inspiration.

As a young female in the field of mathematics, a space where female representation remains limited, I have come to realise that many girls do not necessarily dislike mathematics but often fear it.

I look forward to contributing to this change by sharing my journey and supporting young girls, especially those from underprivileged backgrounds, as they build confidence and curiosity in STEM.
